About J.K. Hopkins
Long before becoming an author, J.K. was an artist and sculptor, using art as a form of visual storytelling. As a writer, he uses these same skills to create artful visualizations that paint vivid mental imagery for readers to better immerse themselves into the stories.
Specializing in thrillers, J.K. crafts his stories with cover-to-cover intrigue, merging fast-paced plots with compelling characters, realistic action, exotic locales and heart-pounding suspense. His characters are developed with a depth and breadth that make them jump off of the page and into your life. In order to compliment the rapid, edge-of-your-seat action of his plots, his settings are described with an attention to detail befitting the pace at which the characters are moving through each scene, enabling readers to easily visualize being there, sharing in the experience.
With the Jake Tinker Series of crime thrillers a primary focus, J.K. is currently at work on the third installment in the series, with plans to publish a new release at least once per year. With a backdrop of corporate and political espionage, the series features ex-navy SEAL, Jake Tinker, a man who lives by his own set of rules and dishes out his own special brand of justice. J.K. also has two standalone novels; the international spy thriller, The Deadly Secret, and the sci-fi time-travel thriller, The Guardian: Extinction.
In his spare time, J.K. is an advocate for the homeless as well as being an avid hiker and bicyclist.
